Refunds & Cancellation

Overview

We understand that plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled at VBake4U. If you have any concerns, please reach out to Vanita on WhatsApp as early as possible.

How Deposits Work

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your order slot. This deposit covers ingredient procurement and time planning.

Cancellations by You

• More than 72 hours before delivery — your deposit may be refunded at Vanita’s discretion, depending on whether ingredients have been procured.
• Between 48 and 72 hours before delivery — a partial refund may be offered.
• Within 48 hours of delivery, or once work has started — the deposit is non-refundable.

To cancel, message Vanita on WhatsApp as soon as possible. Earlier notice gives us the best chance of offering a refund or rescheduling.

Cancellations by VBake4U

If we are unable to fulfil your order due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen supply issues, you will receive a full refund of any amount paid. Vanita will contact you via WhatsApp as early as possible.

Custom Cake Refunds

Custom, sculpted, and multi-tier cakes involve significant design work and preparation time. Once this work has begun — typically 48 or more hours before the delivery date — refunds are limited.

If you cancel after work has started, Vanita will communicate a fair refund amount based on the work completed and ingredients used.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your cake arrives significantly different from what was agreed, or is damaged on delivery, please contact Vanita via WhatsApp within 2 hours of delivery with clear photographs.

Vanita will assess the situation and offer a fair resolution, which may include a partial refund, a discount on a future order, or a replacement cake.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days. Processing timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
